Cockaroaches??? We dont need no stinking Cockaroaches!! When these are at 25mm scale you can use dowel rods and bits of paper to create sails. At 3mm scale I have no idea what I am going to come up with. Thinking 3D printed sails right now.
On a side note, I keep forgetting to turn off the overhead lights for the board so there is often an invasion of giant bugs attracted to the lights. This morning there is now a small spider occupying Waterdeep Island. An ecology is forming because I am a crappy housekeeper!!
In a related note, apparently I like to learn by making mistakes. Who knew that the crappy Chinese manual that came with the Anycubic Photon said "Clean the resin tray with a paper towel" - meaning.... WHATEVER YOU DO DONT SWIPE A CRAPPY DRY PAPER TOWEL IN THE TRAY!!! So I messed up the film on the tray. It has not gotten better and I am now getting massive light leaks. My resin printer is down for at least 4 days although I might just try another small print because I am a glutton for punishment....
These ships were printed on that printer. One came out simply fantastic and then I tried to print a 6 pack and some were so bad I just threw them out. Live and learn to respect the film!!
