Have been busy with work and the boring ugly underside of the project. At this point I have secured the large eastern cliffs to the board and connected them with the harbor area. Got 1/2 of the table covered with foam along the east edge. The size of the table is starting to hamper my access so I will leave a good portion of the west side of the table until the east is functionally finished. Stuff is breaking left and right. I broke my foam cutter yesterday, the band saw is offline due to a bad part which may be due to me cutting foam with it... My 3d printer is acting up and has a bad bed thermistor. A replacement should arrive today. At this point I am pro-actively ordering parts. The plan is to finish up the foam along the east side. Once I get a foam cutter I can finish the cliff edge and then wet cast the remaining cliff face. After this point I think paint can start going down on the cliffs. Plan on doing dark cliffs and then using a sponge to dapple the rocks lighter. It appears this makes a very realistic rock face.
