South Ward Carters Street

After doing a few thousand of these guys they just roll off the fingers. Actually, did a major structural change for this ward. As seen here and it will be more clear once the buildings are painted, there are a lot of open structures. This is the 'Stables' of Waterdeep. Most of the buildings will be unheated pens for livestock and shops to support the trade of horses and equipment. Going to use browns for many roofs to simulate thatch. Someone should tell Ed Greenwood ASAP that the table in the City Systems book for South Ward is not correct and there are a range of numbers missing. I am sure in the 30 years of D&D nerds he has not heard that one before. Actually, for this group of buildings I am pretty much just deciding what I want on the fly and not relying on a table.

Carter St. is at the tip of the south ward adjacent to the entrance gate. As we move west and north the neighborhoods will open up to more shops and accommodations but this neighborhood is not pleasant due to the smells and more importantly the noise of trade 24 hours a day. You would think it would stop when the gates closed but shipments still need to be delivered and caravans organized for the journey tomorrow.
