Stormhaven Island part Deux...

Here are the 3 iterations of Storm Island that I went through. First I started with 1/8" chip board and 1/2 inch poly styrene. I did not cut the slope into it but it was not very inspiring. Went to 1/2 inch extruded styrene and it definitely took it up a notch. Then I found out that the Smugglers Bane comples on top of Stormhaven island was built upon 50' of bedrock thanks to Ed Greenwood who graciously assisted in this project. Now, There is a base of 1/4" chip board underneath and I debated whether to count it or not and ultimately decided not to count it for the offshore elevations. The difference is 1/4" to the height of the Smugglers bane complex and why not eh? So, the blue foam on the right is the bedrock upon which Smugglers Bane will rest to watch for those pirates trying to sneak in from the west.
